Define Truth:

Ch 7
Jesus did not have formal training but His words are from God. He picked apostles that are the same, no education. The main thought was people were debating who Jesus is.

Ch 8
Jesus can forgive grievous sins. He challenges the leaders of the law letting it be know that all sin.
Knowing the future outcome of the cross, and who Jesus is, His words are easy to understand. But if I were a Jew at that time, believing the speculation of an earthly king, I would probably have been confused about his departure. How great that God does this so now 2000 years later we can relate to the men of that time.
Jesus continues to call people out on their sins, and their lack of love for God. (He still does.)

Ch 9
Jesus heals on the Sabbath again. This shows the principle of the law, not the letter of it. Parents of the blind man feared the Jews, and feared losing their place among men. The blind man believes and stands up for Christ.

Truth:
Truth is fact, not feeling. Fact: Christ came, he died, he rose again. Fact: The Bible is God's word. So the truth lies with in it's pages. It is not what we feel is true, or what should happen. Truth is what the Bible says is true and will happen.
