James

James 1:2 gives a challenging outlook on things...

What do you do to maintain a positive attitude?

How do you consider it all joy whenever you face difficulty?

Is a "good day" a decision you make or an outcome of events beyond our control? The truth is we do have some control of our attitude regardless of the circumstances around us.

Define religion:

Why is religion such a negative word for many people (including believers)?

A "good day" must be decided upon. Bad things happen and obviously we're each affected by that differently, but we must look past the problem to where we want to be.

Many times a technique like this is used to help people batteling with addictions and depression look past where they are at to see where they want to be.

Religion?... Well, that can be tricky. Religion should be the worship through various acts that show respect or honor to a god.

However I feel that there are more times that religion is viewed more in the social club aspect than an venue to praise. Of course social benefits come with sharing a similar honor of anything. For instance, there is a common bond among countryman (generally), or among nationalities, or age groups, or even occupations, so it makes sense that in a particular religion there is a social benefit as well. That's where I guess I'm not sure where we cross the line of social center to a place of worship where the focus is on God.
